This is not just a holiday in the conventional sense. The Apollonian Circle is a carefully guided journey that begins and ends in Heraklion, Crete, designed around a single arc – Sailing in Cyclades islands in a 4 days circle, learning how to conscious receive, embody and integrate light through:
- daily Qi Gong & Tai Chi practice,
- movement aligned with the rhythm of the sea,
- breath, silence and natural pacing,
- gradual immersion in places of profound historical and energetic significance.
The word Cyclades comes from the Greek word Kyklos (Circle), meaning “the islands that lie in a circle”. But what do they encircle? The name was given in the antiquity, because the islands surrounded Delos, the sacred place on which Apollo, the God of Light and Harmony, was born. Thus, the name Cyclades means: “The islands encircling Delos.”
Throughout four days at sea, participants are gradually introduced to the Qi Gong (Chi Kung). Practice of light absorption (a traditional Qigong practice dating back to the 11th century, from the Chinese Long Men Pai Temple)— not symbolically, but somatically: through breath, posture, movement and meditation.
Each island prepares the body and mind for what comes next. Each anchorage refines the vessel.
The final day of the journey is dedicated to returning — not just to Heraklion port, but to daily life —with a big difference: with the capacity to absorb and circulate light.
The Apollonian Circle is not simply a sailing retreat. It is designed for those who seek depth without spectacle, meaning without excess and transformation without force. It is a living journey into light, carried by sea, breath and conscious movement.
